Community Covenant
What we agree to.
I come here to grow, not to convert.
I respect every tradition even when I disagree.
I share my path without prescribing others'.
I assume good faith. I sit with discomfort before I react.
Why this matters
Social platforms shaped by engagement metrics reward outrage, certainty, and performance. The conversations that get amplified are rarely the ones worth having.
This space is an attempt at something different — not because we are better, but because we agreed, on arrival, to different terms.
Signing this covenant is not a legal contract. It is a shared posture. If you break it, we'll probably ask you to sit with why. If you break it often, we'll ask you to leave.
How this plays out
- No proselytizing. You can describe your path. You cannot prescribe anyone else's.
- No mockery. Not of traditions, not of seekers, not of skeptics. Disagreement is welcome. Dismissal is not.
- No dunking. If your first instinct is a clever put-down, sit with it for a day. Then decide.
- Good-faith disagreement is encouraged. Mark it as such, and we'll render it differently — so everyone can tell dialogue from attack.
- Reader = poster. Lurking is a valid, even honorable, form of participation.
